The electromagnetic spectrum is the range of all possible electromagnetic radiation frequencies (and therefore wavelengths, since the speed of light is constant). The electromagnetic spectrum includes radio waves, microwaves, infrared, visible, ultraviolet, x-ray, and gamma rays, although in principle the spectrum is infinite and continuous.
